We raised prices across the board by 8% in November and barely lost any work. The demand is there and our margins needed it.

Smart move. Document everything. If a GC overrides your recommendation make sure it is in the contract that they accept responsibility.

Interesting approach. Do you ever run into issues with adhesion of the open cell to the closed cell layer?

Yes! There is an IBHS rating system for this. The foam adhesive strength keeps the OSB sheathing attached to the rafters even when nails pull. Growing segment for us in South Florida.

For Florida: unvented attics with closed cell on the underside of the roof deck is standard practice now. Keeps the attic in the conditioned envelope, dramatically reduces AC load, and protects ductwork.
