Upgrading from a small proportioner and trying to decide between the E-30 and H-40. Primary work is residential – attics, walls, crawl spaces. Occasional light commercial. What are folks running?

E-30 is plenty for residential. The H-40 makes sense for higher commercial output. For resi 30 lb/min is more than enough and you will appreciate the lower weight and portability.

Running an E-30 and have been very happy with it for 3 years. Had one issue with a heater element but Graco support was solid. Make sure you are running the recommended hose sizes.

What hose setup are you running? I was planning on 50 feet of 3/8 inch with a 15 foot whip.

3/8 inch at that length should be fine. I run 75 feet of 1/2 inch to reduce pressure drop and heat loss over longer runs. The whip length is good at 15-20 feet.

Also do not skimp on the heated hose. Unheated bulk hose is a false economy – you will fight temperature variance all day. Go full heated for the main run.

Makes sense. Went with the E-30 and will spec full heated hose. Thanks for the input!
